Get brilliant presentations in any classroom or boardroom with the ultra bright, network-ready Epson PowerLite 1915. This powerful, portable projector yields vivid, high quality images, yet still includes a host of user-friendly features, such as a wireless module for easy wireless setup. With Epson 3LCD technology, XGA resolution and 4000 lumens of color/white light output1, your presentations will pop in any setting. The PowerLite 1915 offers remarkable versatility with innovative features like Screen Fit, powered focus and more. With HDMI digital connectivity, you can bring digital content to your presentations. The PowerLite 1915 even makes it easy to broadcast customized images or announcements over the network.

With 4000 ISO Lumens and a contrast ratio of 2000:1 the XGA-resolution Epson PowerLite 1915 Multimedia Projector has the projection power to present large images in venues where ambient light would be a problem for lesser projectors.

However, it’s a gentle giant that works and plays well with others. It’s got an international 100 – 240 V AC 50/60 Hz power supply and it can handle NTSC, PAL and SECAM TV signals. It can also project 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition signals. And those signals will stay in pristine digital form from the source thanks to the 1915’s HDMI port.

All of those signals benefit from the bright and high contrast Epson 3LCD projector panel. 3LCD delivers clear and vibrant images so true to life you may not believe your eyes.

The 1915 is also PC friendly. You can plug your PC into one of the 1915’s two USB Type A ports and use it to project a slide show or presentation. The other USB Type A port allows you to connect an optional document camera. You can use the projector’s USB Type B port to use the remote control as a wireless mouse. You can also plug in a USB flash drive or camera and present without a PC at all.

This projector is also equipped to use your local network (LAN) in a wired (via its RJ45 jack) configuration or wirelessly (WiFi) via its 802.11 a/b/g capability. You can make presentations from any PC on your network and you can manage, monitor and control the projector using SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). You can send important announcements like rescheduling information or weather updates to a fleet of 1915s. They, in turn can email you to alert you to faults (temperature too high, lamp reaching the end of its life and so on.)

With Direct Power On you can set the 1915 to turn itself on as soon as it’s plugged into the wall socket. And with Epson’s Instant Off technology there is no cool down period. As soon as you turn the projector off you can pack it into its included carrying case and move on.

4000 ISO Lumens And a 2000:1 Contrast Ratio

This high-powered projector can be used in large meeting rooms and auditoriums and in media rooms where there’s a great deal of ambient light.

Epson 3LCD, 3-Chip Optical Engine

3LCD technology delivers sharper and brighter images with superior grayscale detail. Smooth, seamless color combined with an unparalleled grayscale range delivers incredible detail to every image displayed by the 1915. Grayscale is the shades of gray (from black to white) required for greater image depth and detail; it allows greater variation in shadows and brings superior accuracy to color, creating a jaw-dropping, true-to-life visual experience.

Internationally Operational

The 1915 has a 100 – 240 V AC 50/60 Hz power supply. In addition to NTSC (the North American standard) it can handle the NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N, PAL-60 and SECAM video standards. It also projects in 720p 1080i and 1080p high definition. It’s also compatible with PCs and Macintoshes (Mac via a DVI to VGA converter, not included).

230 Watt E-TORL UHE Lamp

Epson’s E-TORL lamp’s innovative design makes it smaller, cooler running, more efficient and brighter than an ordinary lamp. Instead of one conventional parabolic reflector The E-TORL (Epson-Twin Optical Reflector Lamp) uses an elliptical reflector combined with a twin sub-reflector that collects light that would have otherwise been lost. This design achieves a 20 percent improvement in efficiency making the light output brighter and reducing waste heat. This means fan noise is reduced and lamp life is increased.

Wired and Wireless Network Ready

With its RJ45 (Ethernet) jack and 802.11 a/b/g module the 1915 is ready to present over both a wired network (LAN) or wirelessly via Wi-Fi. You can send full-size movies in MPEG format, including images and sound, via either a wireless or wired LAN. You can also remotely access, monitor and control projectors over the network. You can have centralized control of one or a whole fleet of projectors via SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). You can also broadcast messages to every projector on the network, such as schedule changes, weather updates and emergency information. The projectors can send e-mail notifications to alert network administrators when there are issues related to the temperature, fan and lamp status.

USB Plug ‘n Play Instant Setup

No more pressing computer function keys or carrying bulky VGA cables. Just plug in a standard USB cable and instantly project video with audio from your PC. This USB connection also enables you to maintain control over your presentation with the page up/page down function on the remote control.

PC-Free Presentations

Connect a USB flash drive and start your presentation without a PC. You can display still images in the JPG, GIF, PNG and PNG formats as well as MPEG2 and MPEG4 videos

Security Features Protect Your Investment

You can password protect the projector from being turned on and prevent changes to your custom startup screen and network settings. There’s also button lock security to block operation of the project using the buttons on the control panel. For physical security there’s a cable attachment point (cable not included) and a slot for an optional Kensington security lock.
